Last shop !!! Do not accept deposit bottles from other stores, even though there is a deposit sign on them. Poor Germany!! Goods are good, but management doesn't speak German. Hours are covered EVERY DAY, that is, 4:30 am opening time but in fact the last 3 days are only opened at 4: 50-5: 00. As a result many people without their coffee have to work like me now! I love all the goods from Back-Werk. Price performance ratio, I think also very good. If you have paid eight times for coffee, you get the ninth for free.

Super shop :) just had a little time at the train station. The store is designed to be inviting. The seating area is cozy, clean and tidy. The staff very friendly and courteous. The coffee (latte) very tasty and the nougat croissants fluffy, fresh and tasty :) We recommend Will definitely come back

I would normally not bother to rate a baker or discount baker. In this case, I think it is appropriate. In 2012 I regularly commuted to Frankfurt for business reasons. At that time I got to know the bakery in Mannheim main station. The concept of such a discount bakery was completely new to me and I was immediately thrilled. The fresh products, the plentiful selection, the absolutely fair prices and the self-service had convinced me at the time. So I had used the offer at every opportunity and also highly recommended the shop to everyone. I was on business again last week and went to the bakery a couple of times. Conclusion: earlier top, today unfortunately a flop. Self-service and appearance are still great. The staff is also very friendly! However, the price-performance ratio is no longer consistent, especially when you consider that it is still 'just' a discount or bakery. Well, a few years have passed since 2012 and I understand that prices also have to be adjusted. However, I have the impression that not only the prices have increased noticeably (!), But that the products have also dropped significantly (content, quality, etc.). I found a purchased roll particularly ridiculous, which was completely empty in the middle ... Obviously, a bomb of rationalization measures has hit here. I assume that this could only be afforded after the location had established itself due to the good location. Since I can no longer get excited about the 'new' bakery, I will avoid the shops in the future. Actually, it's a shame because I really liked the stores. Of course, this is just my personal, subjective perception.
